INFORMATION COLLECTED BY OFFICE SNAPSHOTS
Office Snapshots collects personal information from users for different purposes. Information gathered online can be identified as either anonymous or identifiable. Anonymous information is information that cannot be traced back to the individual. Identifiable information is information that is specific to an individual.
Automatically Collected Data / Log Data
Like most companies offering online services, the Services and Websites gather certain information automatically from your computer or mobile device and store it. This information may include Internet protocol (IP) addresses, operating system, device type, browser type, content viewed, Internet services provider (ISP), location information, referring/exit pages, date/time stamps, and clickstream data. Office Snapshots uses this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, administer the Services and Websites, gather demographic information about its user base as a whole, and improve its level of service to you.
Information You Provide
Office Snapshots does not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it.
To use certain features of the Website, a user must submit information via forms. For example, a user may submit an office or advertise by submitting forms on the Website. In order to submit such forms, Office Snapshots will collect the following information: (i) name, (ii) email address, (iii) phone number, (iv) company name(s); (v) company/office location, and (vi) website address. To use certain features on the Website, a user must register for an account. A user may register by creating an account through the Website. In order to provide you with an account, Office Snapshots will collect the following information: (i) first and last name, (ii) email address, (iii) company/employer, (iv) job title/function, (v) country, and (vi) username and password. Alternatively, Office Snapshots may allow a user to register using third party services (such as Google or Facebook) to authenticate the user’s identity. If a user registers an account using a third party service, you will be asked permission to share certain information from your third party account with Office Snapshots. You may disconnect your accounter from a third party service at any time. The provision of this personally identifiable information is mandatory and if you choose not to submit the requested information, Office Snapshots will not be able to provide you with an account.
The Websites may provide you with the opportunity to share content with another person. For this feature to work, Office Snapshots may need to collect or be provided with the username, name, and/or email address of the person with whom you want to share content.
The Websites may also allow you to request information from manufacturers by way of a form to be completed. In order to submit a request for information from a manufacturer, you will need to provide your name and email address and may choose to submit additional optional contact information such as your phone number. Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. Google Analytics places cookies on your computer to help Office Snapshots analyze how users use the Website. Office Snapshots also uses Plausible Analytics. Plausible Analytics is an open-source project dedicated to making web analytics more privacy-friendly. Plausible Analytics minimizes data collection in general and whatever Plausible Analytics tracks is kept fully secured, encrypted and hosted on a server in the European Union to ensure it is being covered by the strict laws on data privacy. Plausible Analytics does not use cookies and does not generate any persistent identifiers. Plausible Analytics generates a random string of letters and numbers that is used to calculate unique visitors on a website and reset this string once per day. All the data is isolated to a single day only, therefore, there is no way to know whether a person comes back to a site on another day. Plausible Analytics does not share or send the data to any advertising companies or any other third-parties in general. The data is not monetized, mined and harvested for personal and behavioral trends. By using Plausible Analytics, all the site measurement is carried out absolutely anonymously. Plausible Analytics measures only the most essential data points and nothing else. All the metrics Plausible Analytics does collect fits on one single page. Office Snapshots is a U.S. company and the Websites are hosted in the United States.
