ALA Architects

ALA Architects specializes in demanding public and cultural buildings, unique renovation projects and terminal design. The Helsinki, Finland based firm was founded in 2005 and is run by three partners: Juho Grönholm, Antti Nousjoki and Samuli Woolston.

ALA’s completed projects in addition to the new Oodi Library, include Kilden Performing Arts Centre in Norway, Kuopio and Lappeenranta City Theatres, Aalto University and Keilaniemi Metro Stations and the Aalto University Main Building Dipoli in Finland, as well as the renovation of the Finnish Embassy in India. The firm is currently working on such projects as the expansion of the Helsinki Airport close to home and the Lumière University Lyon 2 Learning Centre in France.
