University House Austin
Rhode Partners designed University House Austin as a housing option for University of Texas students in Austin, Texas.
University House Austin (“UH Austin”) is a 19-story high rise, LEED certified, student housing project in the West Campus area of Austin, Texas, one block west of the University of Texas’ main campus. Inspiration for the design of the exterior was found in the building’s program requirements for two-story townhome units and exterior balconies at only seven of the dwelling units. This well composed, visually dynamic and complex building design that relates proportionally to the adjacent buildings and contributes to the vibrant west campus neighborhood.
