Baldwin Wallace University – The Austin E. Knowlton Center
The Collaborative designed the multi-functional facility home to The Austin E. Knowlton Center at Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio.
The new, 46,800 SF facility includes dry and wet Engineering labs, fabrication lab and sensors and controls lab, robotics lab, human computer lab, data visualization lab, maker space, tech-enhanced social lounge, small group study and presentation areas, board room, classrooms, faculty/staff offices and math huddle spaces.
The project also includes demolition of University owned houses, demolition of Ward Hall and a new campus green space including plazas, pathways and parking. The Collaborative first completed a campus master plan, followed by a feasibility study for the Math & Computer Science building.
