Gannon University – I-HACK
Gannon University engaged The Collaborative to transform a former AT&T Call Center into I-HACK, a state-of-the-art cybersecurity and technology space, featuring labs and maker spaces.
Working with the City of Erie, Gannon University has created a program to support the Secure Smart City movement. Gannon’s new program provides dedicated space for their expanding partnerships with business in rapidly expanding areas of technology innovation, the IOT (Internet of Things) and Cybersecurity.
Gannon University engaged The Collaborative to transform a 1970’s AT&T Call Center into a cutting-edge cybersecurity and Information / Computer Technology space. The 88,550sf, 7-story building includes Cybersecurity Hacking & Defense Labs, the IOT Lab, Individual incubator and lab spaces for students working in collaboration with business partners, and the first phase of their Additive Manufacturing lab in support the technology labs.
All three phases are now complete, with the third phase including a 12,000sf maker and fabrication space to occupy an entire floor of the I-HACK tower.
