Resilience Education Center
The Resilience Education Center in Aurora, designed by Cordogan Clark, offers diverse educational opportunities with advanced electives, counseling services, and unique program spaces for students and families.
Located at the heart of the community, the new Resilience Education Center (R.E.C.) provides enrichment and support for students and their families. It serves as a focal point and multi-faceted after-school resource that offers unique programs like E-sports, Yoga/Dance, 2D and 3D Art, Culinary classes, and studios for Television/Music recording. It includes private therapy rooms for student well-being, breakout areas for studying, and a versatile learning stair for gatherings and events. It also provides a place for district families to gather for parent association meetings and support groups.
High School Juniors and Seniors can take advanced electives daily, while 7th to 10th graders can participate in after-school activities. Counseling services are available, creating a nurturing and safe space for students’ social and emotional growth.

Cordogan Clark collaborated with District 131 to create this facility, providing diverse educational opportunities for students and families in the district’s 19 schools.
