  • The Greenville Technical College Prisma Health Center for Health and Life Sciences is designed to prepare students for in-demand healthcare careers and general education. With growing enrollment and evolving industry demands, the college needed a flexible learning environment featuring the latest in lab environments and medical training spaces.

With support from local healthcare systems, the center puts “learning on display.” The three-story building is now the health sciences hub and a focal point of campus.

Inside, students train in simulation labs, and medical suites that mirror real healthcare environments. Specialized spaces include medical imaging, ultrasound, and radiological technology labs for a real-world medical environment. The Anatomage Lab features virtual dissection tables with interactive 3D human cadavers, providing an immersive learning experience. Collaboration stations and study nooks are located throughout the building, while a day-lit interior and outside patio seating encourages students to stay connected in-between and after class.

A multi-purpose space with 20-foot ceilings and attached warming kitchen provides opportunities for special campus events or additional community use.

The facility integrates cutting-edge technology with sustainable design, earning two Green Globes Certification. Consuming only one-third of the energy of a typical academic building—it sets a standard for efficiency. The Prisma Center for Health and Life Sciences is a landmark for Greenville Technical College’s commitment to high-quality education and workforce development.
