Sterlington High School Athletic and Academic Additions & Renovations
TBA Studio’s Sterlington High School Athletic and Academic Additions & Renovations in Sterlington, Louisiana, seamlessly integrates modern design with existing structures, enriching the school’s learning and training environments.
The Sterlington High School Athletic and Academic Additions & Renovations project enhances both the school’s athletic and academic environments. The work includes new softball and baseball field houses, each featuring modern locker rooms and team facilities, as well as classroom and multi-purpose room renovations and a welding shop expansion that supports the school’s growing technical programs.
The centerpiece of the project is a new football field house addition connected to the existing facility. The addition includes a locker room, coaches’ offices, and a fully equipped weight room, along with a spacious lobby overlooking the field. A glass façade fills the lobby with natural light and provides a striking display area for school branding and team spirit.
Architecturally, the design blends existing campus materials with modern metal panel elements to create a cohesive and contemporary aesthetic that complements the surrounding facilities. These upgrades not only elevate the overall appearance of the athletic complex but also provide students with enhanced spaces to learn, train, and grow—both academically and athletically.
