Colegio San Fernando Library
TEI Arquitectura was tasked with the transparent design for Colegio San Fernando Library located in Santiago, Chile.
The project was inserted into the fabric of the school, to enhance the characteristics of the place. In order to maintain transparency, a three-level bridge-type volume is raised. On the first level, the supports serve the teaching area and coexistence, while on a second level the staircase is the central and hierarchical space, type top where it is possible for the speaker to address a certain group and share their ideas, with reading spaces and with niches under the stairs for reflection and concentration.
At a third level, flexible and closed playful learning environments are proposed.
