Brand Architects designed a thoughtful and expansive space for multiple institutions to utilize at the Fraser Rise Sports & Education Precinct in Plumpton, Australia.

This extensive Sports and Education Precinct comprises of a new school, community hub and sports pavilion for the growing suburb of Fraser Rise. The project includes Springside West Secondary College, Fraser Rise Children’s and Community Hub, City Vista Pavilion and associated sports grounds and infrastructure.

The project is an exemplar in achieving vision by demonstrating how effective collaboration and shared commitment can deliver benefits to a wide range of local community groups. Partnership between Council and the VSBA ensured a consistent approach to design and allowed for the original vision to be maintained.

Springside West Secondary College was the first school in Victoria to explore the supported inclusion model that is now prevalent in the New Schools program. The sports and recreation precinct includes 4 soccer pitches including a FIFA A grade competition pitch, parklands, space for future hardcourts, a large pavilion with a 200 seat bistro and parking. The Children’s & Community Centre comprises early years education and health services and complements the adjacent school and sports reserve.
