  • area / size 8,633 sqft
  • Completed 2023
  • Location Beijing, China,
  • For the music classrooms at WAB Western Academy of Beijing, Studio Vapore embraced the rhythmic spirit of music in their design. Inspired to create spaces that ignite passion for music in students as if they were in a professional studio, the classrooms were given a vibrant makeover.

The design incorporates a warm palette of red, orange, and yellow, providing a dynamic and energizing backdrop for the music spaces. These color accents contrast beautifully against the more neutral tones of the classrooms, bringing a lively and inspiring atmosphere. Adjacent to each classroom are practice rooms, separated by sleek glass partitions. These rooms feature shades of red and are adorned with beautifully composed 3D acoustic tiles.

This design choice is not just aesthetically pleasing but also enhances the acoustic quality of the space, ensuring an optimal environment for music practice.

Every detail, including the light shades and blinds, coordinates with the chosen color scheme, further unifying the design theme. Studio Vapore’s vision was to transform these classrooms into areas that not only foster learning but also simulate the experience of being in a professional music studio, sparking interest and enthusiasm in the students.
