Emery/Weiner School
Kirksey Architecture masterfully designed the Emery/Weiner School in Houston, Texas, as a vibrant educational campus that harmoniously integrates its facilities to support both secular and Judaic learning for 700 students in grades 6 through 12.
The Emery/Weiner School is a private day school that provides secular and Judaic education for approximately 700 students in grades 6 through 12. Kirksey was commissioned to program, master plan, design, and document their new campus on a 12-acre tract of land. Phase I includes three buildings totaling 90,000 sf and a 500-seat auditorium, two court gymnasium, dining facilities, a library, middle school classrooms, upper school classrooms, and all of the appropriate support spaces. Phase II included an Upper School addition and a 10,000-sf Fine Arts addition including a 120-seat Black Box Theater.
