The Dr. B. R. Ambedkar School of Economics in Bengaluru was conceptualized to be a self-sufficient, environmentally-friendly campus that meets both symbolic and functional requirements. Designed by Education Design International, the campus was completed in June 2022, encompassing master planning, architecture, and interior design. The design philosophy, ‘think global, act local’, shaped this flagship university for Economics & Social Sciences in India. The campus spans 43 acres, offering numerous indoor and outdoor learning environments that break the traditional educational mold. These areas foster socio-emotional connections, collaborative learning, diversity, and innovation. Each design aspect, from zoning to furniture selection, is carefully crafted to enhance learning opportunities throughout the campus, making it a vibrant 24/7 educational hub.
