Pierce Education Properties brought ID Studios in to collaborate with KTGY Architecture on a new, six-story ground-up off-campus student housing building just blocks away from the San Diego State University campus. College View Apartments will offer more than 300 beds to students of this growing university.

With the desire to create a fun and energetic modern design aesthetic in the common areas, we combined an open floor plan with furniture groupings to provide maximum flexibility. We treated the ceiling as the fifth wall and highlighted them with saturated colors and modern lighting. Full-height glazing provided opportunities for lots of natural light and a connection to the exterior.
