Project goals included creating an inviting entrance, enhancing connectivity to the main campus plaza, and modernizing the existing space dedicated to the library’s special collection. Renovation featured bright, vibrant spaces to host visitors before embarking on campus tours and takes advantage of the synergy with special collections to show case the university’s rich history. Planar technology walls were added to the updated visitor center. Reconfiguring the space provides for improved movement from research areas to collections and provides an area for large group meetings.
